At Patriot’s Pet Care we offer Grooming, Boarding and Daycare services. When your pup comes here, we strive to deliver personalized service with a keen focus on dogs, their needs, and treating them as family. Being that we are a Veteran Owned and Operated Pet Care Facility, dedication to this country and its people is at the heart of what we do every day. It is our mission to deliver love, compassion, and care to our community’s pets – one play session at a time. We aim to be an advocate for those who cannot speak and be a resource to the community for all pet care needs.

JOHN HENRY HART JR.

Born Jan 10, 1943 to John Henry Hart Sr. and Bessie Mae (Sims) Hart, Mr. Hart had 6 brothers, 6 sisters, and 6 sons ( John H. Hart III, Ted L. Hart, Bobby O. Hart, Danny L. Hart, Stacey A. Hart, and Jason M. Hart).


John Henry Hart Jr was Co-Founder & sole proprietor of Pet & Prim Parlor, Inc. Mr. Hart learned the pet care trade from Dr. Young along with then wife, Mrs. Evelyn D. Hart, and began grooming pets in their spare time. In an effort to professionalize their efforts, Mrs. Evelyn D. Hart coined the name Pet & Prim Parlor. Thus, Pet & Prim Parlor, Inc was officially established in 1967 in Columbia, SC's Historic Roosevelt Village Community. 


Mr. Hart went on to establish two more locations before God called him home Oct 29, 2014. For over 47, years Mr. Hart was a true trailblazer and visionary in the South Carolina pet care discipline and that same spirit of excellence inspires us today at Patriot's Pet Care.
